The Muslim World League Expresses High Appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Affirmation of Its Firm and Unwavering Position on the Establishment of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as Its Capital

Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed high appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's affirmation of its firm and unwavering position on the necessity of establishing the State of Palestine with 'East Jerusalem' as its capital.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stressed that the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Palestinian issue represents its firm and consolidated values and principles.

His Eminence expressed the gratitude of all Islamic peoples to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman — may Allah safeguard them. He commended their historic and unwavering affirmation of the State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, amid ongoing developments and various contexts. Furthermore, he emphasized that their resolute stance is firmly established and not subject to negotiation or outbidding.

Dr. Al-Issa highlighted that this position, deeply rooted in the values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reflecting its pure and strong conscience, fulfills the historical responsibilities arising from its Arab, Islamic, and international significance, thereby forming the basis for the Kingdom's substantial and justified support for the Palestinian cause, unwaveringly guided by principles whose lofty values are firmly embedded in historical constants.

Concluding his statement, His Eminence asked Allah the Almighty to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince abundantly for their constant and unwavering support of the Palestinian people's rights to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and for their stance against establishing diplomatic relations with Israel without fulfilling these conditions.
